Analisis Sosial Ekonomi Rumah Tangga Petani Padi Sawah Di Kecamatan Rambah Samo Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

Rambah Samo Sub-district is one of the rice paddy centers in Rokan Hulu Regency with a harvest area of 234.25 ha and productivity of 43.8 tons/ha.This study aims to determine the characteristics of wet-rice farmers in Rambah Samo Sub-district, and analyze the socio-economic factors of wet-rice farmers in Rambah Samo Sub-district. Respondents were selected using simple random sampling. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The data used in this study are primary data through interviews and secondary data from agencies or journals related to the research. The results showed that on social factors, the average education level of farmers was junior high school (45%), all farmers had livable houses, the average farmer had a high level of health (80%), all farmers had their own vehicles and had private land with an average ownership of 0.5 ha. The economic factors of farmer households are seen from the average farm income in one growing season of Rp 23,496,000 with the average production costs incurred by farmers of Rp 6,370,275 and the average net income received by farmers of Rp 17,125,725 with an RCR value of 3.6. The average household income of farmers per season amounted to Rp 35,571,000 with household expenses of Rp 16,217,775 so that the net income of farmer households was Rp 12,854,225.
