Uji Korelasi Dan Analisis Lintas Terhadap Karakter Komponen Hasil Tanaman Tomat (Solanum Lycopersicum L.)
Tomato production in Riau has been declining because the varieties of tomatoes planted have not been able to adapt well in the lowland. The aim of this research is to find out the value of correlation, the direct and indirect influence between the character of the resulting components on the genotype of tomatoes. The research used a randomized block design (RBD) with eight genotypes consisting of UNRI T22, UNRI T23, NRI T23, UNRI T24, UNRI T24, UNRI T25, UNRI T26, UNRI T27, and Servo with four repetitions, resulting in 32 experimental units with plot sizes of 5 m x 1 m. Each experimental unit contained 20 plants with 10 plants as samples. The results of the research on the character of the resulting component on eight genotypes of tomatoes showed that the character number of fruits per plant, the diameter of fruit, the weight per fruit, and the thickness of the fruit meat have positive correlations with the character weight of fruit per plant. The number of fruit for plant is the character that has the greatest direct influence value upon the character count of fruits for plant.
