Analisis Rugi – Rugi Daya Listrik Pada Saluran Distribusi 20 Kv Feeder Ubar Gi Teluk Lembu Pt. Pln (Persero) Ulp Kota Barat Pekanbaru
The distribution of electrical power systems cannot be optimally utilized by consumers due to power losses occurring as a result of technical and non-technical disturbances. The causes of power losses in distribution lines are the resistance content in the conductors or the condition of the network itself, such as the increasing length of the network. Distribution networks are more susceptible to disturbances because the supply of electrical energy to consumers is continuous. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the power losses generated by the conductors. Calculations are carried out on a 20 kV distribution line using a segment-by-segment calculation method. The total voltage drop at the end of the Feeder Ubar conductor in phase R is 116.42 V, phase S is 108.55 V, and phase T is 111.17 V. And the total power losses per phase on the Feeder Ubar in phase R are 8,091.22 W, phase S is 7,227.00 W, and phase T is 7,239.95 W. The percentage of voltage drop values in October 2023 at the Feeder Ubar in phase R is 0.58%, phase S is 0.54%, and phase T is 0.55%. And the percentage of power losses in the power used in October 2023 at the Feeder Ubar per phase is phase R is 0.999%, phase S is 0.999%, phase T is 0.999%. The percentage of power loss and voltage drop values are within tolerance limits as stipulated in SPLN No. 72 of 1987, where the maximum limits for power loss and voltage drop are 5%.
