Kandungan Bahan Organik Sedimen Dan Kelimpahan Makrozoobenthos Di Perairan Pangkalan Jambi, Kabupaten Bngkalis Provinsi Riau
This research was carried out in January-March 2024. This research aims to determine the type, abundance and relationship of sedimentary organic matter to the abundance of macrozoobenthos. This research uses a survey method by determining sampling stations using purposive sampling consisting of four stations. To determine differences in macrozoobenthos abundance, a one-way ANOVA test was used. To determine the relationship between sediment organic matter and the abundance of macrozoobenthos, statistical correlation and simple linear regression tests were carried out. The research results showed that the sediment organic matter content at each station ranged from 6,651-11,536 %. Found 3 classes, 9 orders, 13 families, 15 genera and 22 macrozoobenthos species consisting of A. granosa, P. erosa, M. opima, C. alata, C. cingulate, T. telescopium, N. costata, E. aurisjudae, L. melanostoma, L. undulata, C. urceus, C. capucunus, I. blanfordi, I. rufotincta, C. cloveriana, C. glauca, C. ventricose, N. jacksonranus, N. obsolete, N. olivaceus, P. morio and Parasesarma sp. The abundance of macrozoobenthos between stations has a value of 8,667-15,333 ind/m2 with an average of 11,611 ind/m2 and there is no significant difference in the abundance of macrozoobenthos between stations. The abundance of macrozoobenthos between intertidal subzones has a value of 13,778-18,00 ind/m2 and there is no significant difference in abundance of macrozoobenthos between intertidal subzones. The results of the correlation and regression tests have a significant value of 0,372 > 0,05 which indicates there is no relationship between the organic matter content of the sediment and the abundance of macrozoobenthos. The correlation coefficient (r) value of 0,283 indicates a weak relationship. The results of the correlation and linear regression tests are interpreted in the equation Y = 7,7042 + 0,4319X..
