Analisis Efektivitas Mesin Folio Sheeter #5 Dengan Menggunakan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (Oee) Dan Six Big Losses
Folio sheeter machine is a machine used for the process of cutting paper from paper roll form into sheets of paper of various sizes and tailored to production needs. In the production process, the Folio sheeter #5 machine often has several problems that can reduce its efficiency and productivity. Therefore, an analysis of the effectiveness of the machine is carried out in this Final Project entitled “Analysis of the Effectiveness of the Folio sheeter #5 Machine Using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Method and Six Big Losses”. The purpose of this final project is to determine the Availability, Performance, Quality and OEE values of the Folio sheeter #5 machine and identify the number of losses that most affect the effectiveness of the Folio sheeter #5 machine to determine corrective actions that can improve machine performance and optimize productivity. The data used in this final project is secondary data obtained from SS daily report data and company operational data. Calculations were carried out using the OEE method and analyzed for losses using the Six Big Losses. Based on the calculations that have been carried out, the availability rate value with an average percentage from May 2023-February 2024 is 80%, the average percentage of the performance rate value is 90% and the quality rate value is 96%. The OEE value with an average percentage from May 2023-February 2024 is 69%. From the analysis of the Six Big Losses using pareto diagrams, the highest losses were obtained, namely set up adjustment losses with an average percentage of 11%, which then sought the root cause of the problem using a fishbone diagram which included human, machine and material factors which were then given corrective or suggestion action.
