Monyet Ekor Panjang (Macaca Fascicularis) (Raffles 1821) Sebagai Daya Tarik Wisata Di Taman Kera Jinak Desa Sekodi, Kabupaten Bengkalis
Macaca fascicularis is one of the attractions of the Tame Ape Park in Sekodi Village, Bengkalis Regency. This study aimed to count the number of groups of 'tame' M. fascicularis; determine the time required by visitors to see M. fascicularis; and identify M. fascicularis as a tourist attraction in the park. The methods used were: survey of environmental conditions and direct observation using the census method for 12 days with observation times at 08:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 17:00. Daily behavioral observations were made using the ad libitum sampling method. Interactions between visitors and M. fascicularis were observed using focal animal sampling. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitative data were presented in graphical form. Two groups of tame M. fascicularis were found. There were 40 individuals of M. fascicularis near the saung. The time required for visitors to encounter tame M. fascicularis was under 1 hour. The potential of tame M. fascicularis as a tourist attraction includes: daily behavior, the highest interaction behavior of tame M. fascicularis with visitors is approaching visitors, and there has been no conflict between tame M. fascicularis and visitors. There is a tradition of intention and Bele Kampung.
