Respon Mahasiswa Terhadap Revisi Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT) di Universitas Riau

In accordance with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 55 of 2013 where it is stated that policies related to UKT will be provided to universities taking into account funds adjusted to the student's economic situation. Payments using a single tuition fee (UKT) system will be divided by several groups based on the level and economic situation of the student.For students who object to the UKT level received which is supported by several motivating factors, they can submit a UKT revision. With the UKT revision, students received different responses.
This research aims to analyze the factors that influence students' responses to the UKT revision. The research method used in this research is descriptive statistics by looking for relationships between variables, namely internal factors and external factors as independent variables and student responses to the UKT revision as the dependent variable. The test used iscorrelational and regression with a total sample of 98 respondents.
Based on the results of internal factor testing, sig.0.000 < sig. 0.05, then the statements are related. Meanwhile, the external factor hypothesis obtained sig.0.001 < sig. 0.05, then the statement is related to student responses to the UKT revision. The results of tests carried out simultaneously obtained f count121,035 while r tableis 0.197. It means value121,035> 0.197, then the two variables are related. Judging from the significance to see the influence between variables, if t < sig.0.05. Meanwhile, the t-test results obtained were 0.000 < sig.0.05. So based on the decision, internal factor variables and external factors simultaneously have a relationship with student responses to the UKT revision. The factors that influence this response have a positive influence on students regarding the UKT revision policy.
