Analisis Pendapatan Usahatani Kelapa Dalam Di Kecamatan Kundur Utara Kabupaten Karimun
Indonesia is an agrarian country where most of its population works as farmers. One of the leading agricultural commodities is the coconut plant. Increased coconut production significantly impacts the economic income of a region or area. Coconut plantations contribute significantly to the rural economy. However, the lack of availability of quality fertilizers and seeds makes farmers' production suboptimal, causing the selling price of their coconut products to be very fluctuating. This study aims to: First, analyze the income and net income of coconut farmers in Kundur Utara Sub-district Karimun Regency. Second, analyze the feasibility of coconut farming in Kundur Utara Sub-district Karimun Regency. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews with 75 coconut farmers in Kundur Utara Sub-district Karimun Regency. Secondary data used are data obtained through agencies directly related to the research. The sampling of farmers used the random sampling method using Excel. The data analysis used includes farm cost analysis, farm income analysis, farm income, and feasibility analysis with the R/C ratio. Coconut farmers in Kundur Utara Sub-district Karimun Regency, are of productive age, with an average age between 15-54 years. The average education level of farmers is high school, with farming experience of 11-20 years, and an average family responsibility of 1-4 people. The results of the study show that the average production cost of coconut farmers in Kundur Utara Sub-district Karimun Regency, in 2023 was Rp. 18,214,477.36/ha/year, and the average income obtained was Rp. 48,226,667/ha/year, resulting in an average farmer income of Rp. 30,012,189.31 /year or Rp. 2,501,015.78/month. The R/C Ratio obtained is 2.65, meaning that for every Rp. 1 spent by farmers on coconut farming, they will receive Rp. 2.65 in income. Since the obtained R/C ratio is greater than 1 (R/C > 1), coconut farming in Kundur Utara Sub-district is feasible to run.
