The agricultural sector has a very large role in the country's economic growth. Problems in the field were found to be that agricultural extension workers were still unable to solve all the problems faced by farmers. This research aims to analyze the performance of agricultural instructors and the factors that influence the performance of agricultural instructors in Rokan Hulu Regency. This research is a descriptive study using the Likert scale method and multiple linear regression which was carried out in Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The performance of agricultural instructors in Rokan Hulu Regency is in a good category in terms of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The performance of agricultural instructors in Rokan Hulu Regency is influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors that have been proven to have a significant influence are mainly training and length of service, while external factors are the distance to the work area, the number of farmer groups, the level of active participation of farmers, and facilities and infrastructure.
