Pemberian Kombinasi Tkks Dengan Npkmg Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.)
Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) are a type of vegetable that is widely used by the community as a complement to seasoning dishes to add flavor to food. Onion production and productivity in Riau is still low. One of the efforts that can be made to increase shallot production and productivity is by improving cultivation techniques and fertilizing onion plants. Fertilization that can be done is the use of compost of empty fruit bunches (EFB) with NPKMg. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and three replications. The treatments used were: 15 t.ha-1 EFB compost + 3 g NPKMg per plant, 15 t.ha-1 EFB compost + 6 g NPKMg per plant, 15 t. ha-1 EFB compost + 9 g NPKMg per plant, 30 t.ha-1 EFB compost + 3 g NPKMg per plant, 30 t.ha-1 + NPKMg 6 g per plant, 30 t.ha-1 + NPKMg 9 g per plant. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance with Duncan's multiple range further test at the 5% level using SAS application. The results showed that the combination of EFB compost with NPKMg increased the growth and production of shallot plants in plant height, number of bulbs per clump, fresh bulb weight per plot and shelf-worthy bulb weight per plot. The combination of 30 t.ha-1 EFB compost with 9 g NPKMg per plant showed the best growth and production of shallot plants compared to other treatments.
