Uji Beberapa Konsentrasi Ekstrak Daun Jengkol (Pithecellobium Lobatum Benth) Terhadap Mortalitas Ulat Grayak Jagung (Spodoptera Frugiperda J.E. Smith) Di Laboratorium
Corn (Zea mays L.) is a food crop commodity that has experienced a decline in production due to attacks by Spodoptera frugiperda J.E. Smith. Jengkol leaves (Pithecellobium lobatum Benth.) can be used as a botanical pesticide to control pests. The aim of the research is to obtain a concentration of jengkol leaf extract that is effective in controlling fall armyworms (S. frugiperda) in the laboratory. This research was conducted to obtain an effective concentration of jengkol leaf extract on S. frugiperda mortality in the laboratory. The research was carried out experimentally with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisted of six treatments and four replications. The treatments given were concentrations of 0 g.l-1 water, 20 g.l-1 water, 40 g.l-1 water, 60 g.l-1 water, 80 g.l-1 water, and 100 g.l-1 water of jengkol leaf extract. Observation parameters consist of initial time of death, lethal time 50, lethal concentration 50 and 95, daily mortality, total mortality, changes in behavior and morphology as well as temperature and humidity. Daily mortality data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and displayed in graphicalform, dataon initialtimeof death, LT50, and totalmortality were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance with SAS, the results of the analysis were further tested with an honest significant difference test at the 5% level. The lethal concentration datawasanalyzed probit withSPSS 25. Theresults showed that a concentration of 100g.l-1 of jengkol leaf extract water was an effective concentration because it was able to cause a total mortality of 95% of S. frugiperda, the initial time of death was 9.25 hours and the lethal time was 50 at 35.75 hours. after application.
