Pengaruh pemberian pupuk kandang Ayam dan Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanamanpare (Momordica Charantia L)
Bitter melon (Momordica charantia L.) is a horticultural crop grouped as a fruit vegetable crop that is widely used in various dishes and is much favored by the public because it has many benefits, high nutritional content and also has a high selling value in the market. Cultivation of bitter melon is only carried out in small quantities in yard and moor land. Efforts can be made to increase bitter melon production by utilizing existing marginal land, one of which is Inceptisol soil. This soil as a planting medium has several problems, namely the level of soil fertility, nutrients, water storage capacity, and low organic matter content. Efforts that canbe made to improve soil fertility in Inceptisol soil include applying chicken manure and NPK. This research was conducted experimentally in the form of a 4 ×3 factorial using a completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor is the dose of chicken manure consisting of 4 levels (no chicken manure, 10, 15 and 20 t.ha-1) and the second factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer consisting of 3 levels (240, 360 and 480 kg.ha-1), each combination repeated three times. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance and further tested with Duncan's test at the 5% level. The results showed that the combination of chicken manure at a dose of 20 t.ha-1 with NPK fertilizer at a dose of 480 kg.ha-1 gave the best results.
