Hubungan Kadar Gula Darah Sewaktu Terhadap Kejadian Stroke-Associated Pneumonia (SAP) Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 2019 –2024
Stroke-associated pneumonia (SAP) is a lower respiratory tract infection that occurs in stroke patients within 48 hours to 7 days. Blood sugar at admission in SAP patients is one of the factors that influence the occurrence of infection. This study aims to analyse the correlation between blood sugar and the incidence of stroke-associated pneumonia. This study using a cross-sectional analytic method using medical records of stroke patients with pneumonia at RSUD Arifin Achmad, Riau Province. From the 97 samples, the mean blood sugar at admission was between 80-144 mg/dL, with most of them having definite pneumonia.
