Solidaritas Sosial Komunitas Chelsea Indonesia Supporters Club Pekanbaru
The Chelsea Indonesia Supporters Club (CISC) Pekanbaru community is a group of football fans who support Chelsea FC, with a shared love for the club serving as the foundation for building social solidarity. The aim of this study is to analyze the forms of social solidarity and identify efforts to maintain solidarity within the CISC Pekanbaru community from the perspective of Émile Durkheim's theory of social solidarity. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consist of six informants, including the community leader and active members who have been part of the group for over two years. The results show that mechanical solidarity is more dominant than organic solidarity. Mechanical solidarity is reflected in the members' sense of togetherness in various activities, such as watching matches together, playing futsal, and participating in social actions. Organic solidarity is also visible in the division of labor through the community's organizational structure. Efforts to maintain solidarity are carried out through intensive interactions, active participation in activities, and leadership that prioritizes unity. This study concludes that the solidarity within the CISC Pekanbaru community is the result of collective values and shared experiences, which strengthen social cohesion and ensure the sustainability of the community.
