Analisis Nilai Tambah Udang Rebon di Desa Tanjung Pasir Kecamatan Tanah Merah Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau
The processing of shrimp into shrimp paste provides high added value in increasing the income of coastal households and contributing to the local economy. The research aims to calculate the costs incurred and the income received and analyze the added value obtained from the business of processing shrimp into shrimp paste in Tanjung Pasir Village, Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. This study uses a survey method and type of primary data collection through questionnaires and structured interviews with shrimp paste processing business actors. The data analysis used is cost analysis, income, and value-added analysis using the Hayami method. The results of the study show that the average cost in one production reaches IDR 1,872,167, if there are two productions in one month, it costs around IDR 3,744,000. Once the production process of shrimp paste business actors requires an average of 336 kg of raw materials for wet shrimp, after drying and processing only produces 168 kg of shrimp paste. Where 1 kg of shrimp paste is sold for IDR 18,000 /Kg, so that the gross receipts obtained by business actors are IDR 3,024,000 in 1 production. After deducting production costs, the average profit obtained is IDR 1,154,000 per production. The value-added analysis shows that on the production scale of 400- 500 kilograms of rebon shrimp, the added value per kilogram reache IDR 4,276 with a profit rate of 88%, On the other hand, on the scale of 200-300 kilograms of rebon shrimp, the added value is slightly lower, namelyIDR 4,127, but the profit rate remains 88%.
