Analisis Pendapatan Usahatani Kelapa Sawit Swadaya Di Kecamatan Tandun Kabupaten Rokan Hulu
ABSTRACT
Independent oil palm farming is one of the key sectors supporting the livelihoods of farmers in Tandun District, Rokan Hulu Regency. However, challenges such as low productivity, limited capital, the use of inferior seedlings, and suboptimal cultivation practices remain major obstacles to increasing farmers' income. This study aims to analyze the income of independent oil palm farmers in Tandun District. The research method used is a survey involving 44 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using income analysis. The results show that the cultivation techniques applied by farmers are still not in accordance with recommended oil palm cultivation standards, particularly in fertilization, pruning, and spraying practices. The average annual income of independent oil palm farmers is IDR 14,410,635 per hectare per year, with a monthly income of IDR 1,200,885 per hectare per month. The R/C ratio value is 1.73, indicating that this farming activity is profitable and feasible to continue.
