Pengaruh Intensitas Menonton Drama Korea Daily Dose Of Sunshine Terhadap Tindakan Self-Diagnosis Generasi Z
Korean drama is one of the most popular Korean wave cultural products in the world. Korean drama as one of the mass media not only functions as an entertainment medium but also as a medium that can influence the behavior of its audience. Self-diagnosis of mental health disorders occurs among young people, especially Generation Z. Daily Dose of Sunshine is one of the Korean dramas that raises the issue of mental health disorders with the background of a nurse in a psychiatric ward. This drama was discussed through the auto base X @kdrama_menfess account. The theory used is the theory of uses and effect, where the use of a medium will have a certain effect on its users. This study aims to test whether or not the intensity of watching the Korean Drama Daily Dose of Sunshine has an effect on self-diagnosis in Generation Z.
This study uses a quantitative research method using a non-probability sampling technique and using the ancient Rao formula which obtained the results of 400 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with google form rocks and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive statistical analysis, simple linear regression analysis and determination coefficient (R2). In data processing activities, the researcher used the SPSS application version 26.
Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, the value of Y = 18.303 + 0.765X was obtained with a value of constant (a) of 18.303 and a variable coefficient of X of 0.765. Meanwhile, t count 8.555 is greater than t table 1.966 with a significance rate of 0.000 < 0.05, where H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The determination coefficient (R2) was tested at 0.155. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the intensity of watching the Korean Drama Daily Dose of Sunshine on the self-diagnosis actions of Generation Z which is included in the very low category with a determination coefficient value (R2) of 15.5% and the remaining 84.5% is influenced by variables outside this study. This means that the intensity of watching the Korean Drama Daily Dose of Sunshine is not very strong in influencing the act of self-diagnosis in Generation Z.
