Pengaruh Substrat Filter Yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Ikan Koi (Cyprinus Rubrofuscus) Pada Sistem Resirkulasi
Koi fish is a very common decorative fish comodity in Indonesia because of its beautiful color and the high pricing. Koi fish culture were commonly facing problem becuse of its slow growth and its high sensitivity on water quality, therefore a precaution to prevent it was done by using filtration system. Filtration system is a filtering process to remove dense particle and chemical substance in a body of water. Filtration commonly use substrate such as coconut charcoal, dacron, coral reef, dan zeolite. The purpose of this research is to find the best filtration substrate in order to raise the growth and survivability of koi fish. The research was conducted from April to June of 2024 in the Laboratory of Aquaculture Technology, Fisheries and Marine Faculty of Riau University. The research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five different factorials (control, coconut charcoal, dacron, coral reef, and zeolite) and three times repetition. The result of the research shows that on P1 with coconut charcoal substrate was showing an increase on koi fish weight growth by 0,8 g, lenght by 1,57 cm, and specific growth rate by 0,016%/day and is showing slight difference than other treatment with 100% survivability rate on every treatment. The water quality during research was still categorized as optimal for koi fish growth and survivability rate and recorded water quality such as temperature 25-30,7°C, pH 5,3-7,6, DO 2,11-4,01 mg/L dan ammonia ranging from 0,0268-0,1764 mg/L.
