Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi E-Arsip Surat Pada Kantor Bps Provinsi Riau

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Riau Province, particularly in the Human Resources (HR) Division, still encounters issues in managing letter archiving, which is currently handled manually. This condition hinders the speed of document retrieval and reduces work efficiency. This research aims to design and develop a web-based E-Archive information system to assist administrators and operators in managing incoming and outgoing letters more effectively. The system development follows the Waterfall methodology, consisting of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. System modeling is carried out using Unified Modeling Language (UML), which includes Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram, and Class Diagram. The system is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, implemented with the Laravel version 11 framework. The result of this system design is expected to improve the efficiency of letter archiving and support administrative processes in the HR Division of BPS Riau Province in a more systematic and modern manner.
