Unitary Republic of Indonesia is one of the agrarian state, most of the
population live from agriculture, is shown in the number of residents choose the type
of work in the agricultural sector, in addition to State of Indonesia is an agrarian
country Indonesia is also a wealthy country with a culture, like in the village of Salo
Sub Salo Kampar regency where the majority of its population living as farmers
rubber to meet the needs of everyday life. The work of Weber on the protestant ethic
and the spirit of capitalism shown good working relationship in the spirit of a person's
success. Protestant doctrine which gave birth to Weber's work has serious
implications for the growth of a new work ethic, the protestant community, the ethos
was directly related to the spirit to work hard in order to seize the world with a
successful life. Measuring success is a measure of success is also the world hereafter.
Framework for thinking of this research is independent variable that is the welfare of
revenue, spending, saving, savings and assets affect the dependent variable ie
working ethos of working hours, time discipline, and fortitude rubber farmers.
This research takes place in the Village District Salo Kampar Regency on the
grounds here predominantly rubber livelihood as farmers. The total number of
farmers 23 people. Techniques used in this study are a population study technique
because the number of peasant population of only 23 people and is not eligible to be
sampled. Technique data collecting by interview using a list of questions and
observations and presented in tables and analyzed qualitatively namely in the form of
the descriptions. Having analyzed the work ethic was known to rubber farmers in the
village of Kampar regency Salo, Salo District including the work ethic into the
medium or medium. They just stare at their jobs as farmers without trying to create a
second job. Then the welfare of those belonging to the Family Welfare BKKN II
according to the family that is able to meet basic needs and social psychological but
not able to meet its development needs such as the need to save money and obtain
information.
