This research aimed to determine the effect of budgetary participation on managerial performance with organizational commitment and work motivation as a moderating variable.

This research was a survey by distributing questionnaires directly to the Manager Medium Company In Pekanbaru. The population in this study is Medium companies in Pekanbaru. The sample in this research amounted to 80 managers. The data analyzed using simple linear regression analysis model and a linear regression analysis with SPSS version 17.00.

The results of the study showed that budgetary participation, organizational commitment and work motivation significantly influence managerial performance. magnitude of the effect (coefficient determination) caused by participation in the budget, organizational commitment and work motivation is 65,3% while 34,7% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study
