Darmawati (1105165841) TITLE: "Analysis of Character Values Sixth Grade Students Seen From Work and Elementary Education Parents On a Tunas Harapan Force District of Kampar Kiri Academic Year 2012/2013". The background of this study were 1) the majority of students are lacking in mernjalankan religious obligations, such as prayer, fasting and other: 2) the majority of students who are less able to control himself in troubleshooting; 3) the majority of students who have less impatient nature in the act and 4) the majority of students who lack discipline; 5) the majority of students who have less responsibility in holding the mandate. The purpose of this study is 1) to describe the character values of six graders cluster Kampar Kiri TA 2012/2013 in terms of working parents; 2) to describe the character values of six graders cluster Kampar Kiri TA 2012/2013 in terms of parental education. Operational definition of the values of character that is relatively stable personal characteristics of the individual self is the basis for the appearance and behavior of the standard norms of high value, wherein the indicator is a cover of Faith and piety, self-control, patience, discipline, hard work, perseverance, responsible, honest, defend the truth, obedience, politeness and civility. Obedience to rules, loyal, democratic attitude of togetherness, consultation, mutual assistance, tolerance, orderly, peaceful, non-violent, efficient and consistent. Assumption of this study were 1) Each student has values varying character; 2) The values of the student's character can be measured and identified by the indicators; 3) Data on student character values can be determined through a questionnaire. The study population was all female students of high grade cluster SDN Tunas Harapan Kampar Kiri that total 162 students. The method used is descriptive and analytical. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and data analysis is the percentage. Results of this study include: 1) description of the character values of the sixth grade students in terms of working parents in SDN as Tunas Harapan Force District of Kampar Kiri is the dominant type of work as private employees and civil servants, 2) description of the character values of the sixth grade students in terms of education SDN old in a cluster Tunas Harapan Kampar Kiri district is predominantly on the level of parental education college.
