Inventarisasi Tumbuhan Obat Pada Etnis Jawa, Melayu, Sakai Di Desa Petani Kab. Bengkalis Dan Skrining Fitokimia
Desa Petani Kab.Bengkalis, Riau is a developing area, occupied by three major ethnics i.e. of Javanese, Malay and Sakai. The countinous development may reduce the medicinal plant diversity. This study aimed to record and identify the medicinal plants used by Javanese, Malay and Sakai people and to test the phytochemical content of those plants. The study was conducted from July 2013 to February 2014. The data was collected using interviews and questionnaires to traditional medicine practitioners. The result showed 194 plants species that belongs to 67 families. The number of plant species used by Javanese, Malay, Sakai were 124, 78 and 98 respectively. The most common habitus that used by three ethnic were shrub and herb. Plant organ that generally used was leaf. The phytochemical identification of 66 species showed those plant contained flavonoid (39 species), saponins (45 species), tannins (32 species), quinones (13 species), terpenoids (12 species) and alkaloids (28 species).
