Pengaruh Jumlah Penduduk Miskin Dan Tingkat Pengangguran Terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Di Indonesia (Periode 2004-2013)

This study is aimed to determine the number of poor and the rate of unemployment to Human Development Index in Indonesia period 2004-2013. The data used in this study is a time series data from 2004 up to 2013 were sourced from Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). This study used quantitative research methods, and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis using SPSS 20 application for Windows computers. In this study, the independent variable is the number of poor (X1) and the rate of unemployment (X2) while the dependent variable is Human Development Index(Y).
This study tested using simple linear regression and coefficient of determination. The result showed that the variable the number of poor with simple linear regression negative influence and significant on Human Development Index and the rate of unemployment with simple linear regression negative influence and significant on Human Development Index. The influence coefficient of determination by variable the number of poor is 63% on human development index, while the rate of unemployment have coefficient of determination is 91,7 % on human development index.
