Pengaruh Probiotik Cair Dengan Dosis Yang Berbeda Terhadap Penurunan Kadar Amoniak Pada Kolam Terpal Ikan Lele Dumbo (Clarias Gariepinus)
This research about the influence of liquid probiotics with different doses to decrease ammonia concentration on the pond of Africa Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) was conducted from April until May 2015 at Environmental Quality Cultivation Laboratory Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. The purpose of this research was to investigate optimum doses liquid probiotics to decrease ammonia on the pond and was the survival rate of Africa Catfish (Clarias gariepinus). Africa Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) with size of 2-5cm in length and 1.47 g/tail in weight were used in the reseach. The container that used size 1x1x0,45m and each pond filled with water 400 liters of fresh water. The treatment given is giving of probiotics with different doses namely dose of 6,25x109 sel/ml, 12,5x109 sel/ml, 18,75x109 sel/ml, 25x109 sel/ml and added with the control treatment. This research uses Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 1 factor 3 levels and 3 repetitions. Probiotics with a doses of 18,75x109 sel/ml can reduced ammonia (NH3) of 0,001 ppm and can increase growth levels and survival rate Africa Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) of 5,55% and 83%.
