This research was conducted using a survey of high school students of economics akbar (STIE), a high school economics lamp of Indonesia (STIE), a high school economics persada mother (STIE), a high school economics after housekeeping (STIE) in Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the effect of intrinsic factors of work, financial rewards, consideration of the labor market, the personality of the individual and the work environment to the public accounting profession career choice.
The population in this study were all students of the high school of economics (STIE) in Pekanbaru. Samples were taken totaling 80 accounting students. The data used is primary data collection method of data using questionnaires. Methods of data analysis used in this study are multiple regression (multiple regression) with the help of SPSS version 20.
Results of hypothesis testing showed variable factors intrinsic job, financial rewards, consideration of the labor market, the personality of the individual and the work environment influence the public accounting profession career choice.
