Dampak Sistem Pengelolaan Sampah “Pay As You Throw” (Payt) Terhadap Insentif Mengurangi Sampah (Studi Kasus Perumahan Citra Garden Pekanbaru)

This research aim is to understand the impact of “Pay As You Throw”
(PAYT) system to incentives to reduce wate and to know the number of willingness
to pay the public in paying a plastic in a Citra Garden’s Pekanbaru housing. The
sample of this research it uses the Full Sample or a Population that include all of
the respondents that is in Citra Garden’s Housing Pekanbaru with 44 units with
data collection method executed is observation, questionnaire, interview, and
study documents. The method of analysis that used in this research are the
descriptive method ang quantitative method. A method of descriptive is to discuss
all of problems in this research by decomposing and explains based on the data,
from that data so able to illustrate the state of being imminent. The quantitative
analysis to count the value of Willingness To Pay (WTP) by using Contingent
Valuation Method (CVM). Based on the result that the system waste management
“Pay As You Throw” (PAYT) had a positive impact on the behavior of the people
in handling the dump, where 23 of 44 of respondents said that they succeeded in
reducing the amount of trash who they threw away the “Pay As You Throw”
system. The average value on Willingness To Pay (WTP) is Rp 2.443 per
respondent with the total od Willingness To Pay is Rp 107.500. The lowest value
is Rp 1.000 and the highest value is Rp 5.000. Most of respondents in a
Willingness To Pay is in the value Rp 2.000. Keywords : Incentives, Waste Management, Pay As You Throw, CVM and WTP
