General purpose of cooperative supervision is To provide real information about the state of cooperatives, both in terms of organization, business administration and finance. As well as to provide advice in order to achieve cooperative objectives based on the results of the determined examination and special purpose of cooperative supervision. But in the field that happens is only Board od cooperative knowing all the ins and outs of cooperative efforts, structural supervisors and membership is something that just a formality even just fictitious and the mastery of cooperatives is held by only a few people that is the board of cooperatives.
The problems in this research are 1) How is the implementation of cooperative supervision by cooperative supervisory body in Indragiri Hilir? 2) What is the extent of the government's role in monitoring the cooperatives in Indragiri Hilir? Research method in this research is sociological. The location of this research is conducted in Indragiri Hilir Regency. The population in this study is the Board of Trustees of Cooperatives and the Office of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Indragiri Hilir. The data source of this research is primary data and secondary data by collecting data through interview, literature study. The data analysis technique used is qualitative.
The general description in this study is a general overview of cooperatives, an overview of Monitoring. The general overview of cooperatives discusses the notion of cooperatives, cooperative organizations. An overview of the Supervision discusses the duties and authorities of the Cooperative Supervisor.
The position, authority and responsibilities of the regulatory body have not been properly implemented as stated in Law Number 25 of 1992 on Cooperatives. This is evident from the absence of a report by the Cooperative Supervisory Board as evidence of the results of its supervision. The lack of government role in the field of cooperatives in Indragiri Hilir has not been able to develop as it should be, the responsibility of the supervisory body of the cooperative in conducting the supervision, the sense of activeness of the cooperative supervisory body in carrying out the duties and authority of the cooperative supervisory body and the decreasing of the management and supervisory body of the cooperative In preparation An Annual member meeting report The Cooperative Supervisory Board should continuously improve its performance in supervising the implementation and management of the cooperatives so that the cooperatives can run properly, since the Cooperative Supervisory Board is one of the organizational structures formed and selected by the members of the cooperative to ensure that the cooperative is going well
