Modal Sosial Pada Komunitas Suku Toraja Di Pekanbaru
Research was conducted on IKKT (Sangtorayan) in Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine how social capital and efforts to maintain and strengthen social capital in IKKT (Sangtorayan). The theory used is the social capital theory put forward by Putnam consists of trust, social networks and social norms. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach with case study method. Subjects of this study amounted to 6 are three board members and three members. Mechanical determination of informants by using purposive sampling technique. Source data used are primary and secondary data sources. Data collected by the data collection techniques such as observation (observation), interview (Indepth Interview) and documentation. Analysis of the data used in this study with data analysis techniques which refer to the concept of Milles and Huberman consisting of data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (display data) and conclusion (verification). The conclusion of this study is a very important social capital within a group or organization, trust, social networks and the values and norms have a role in maintaining the relationship and continuity IKKT Sangtorayan) in Pekanbaru who can be called a metropolitan city. Belief does not appear out of nowhere, but it takes time and the process in a relatively long time through the interaction between the board and members. Forms of trust among members in the form of mutual trust in solving various problems faced diperantauan and confidence in the board. The high trust among member causes the difficulty of regeneration in the community. Social networks are formed only limited in that community networking between members and administrators are built every member in various activities or activities undertaken. Social norms in the form of written rules set out in the form of AD / ART and the values that are shared strengthen social capital. Efforts to maintain and strengthen social capital by building trust among members, expand their social networks and obey the rules applied in the AD / ART and uphold the values that are shared.
