One of the major breakthroughs in waste management, urban areas in Indonesia is a Waste Bank Program. Waste Bank program was made to change the paradigm that formed in the minds of the public that garbage is something useless and thrown away transformed into something that has value and price. Through society, Waste Bank can save rubbish bins and manage household waste in environmental friendly. This research is a quantitative research that aims to determine the relationship between the level of public knowledge about the management of household waste and public attitudes about the benefits of waste banks with the behavior of public involvement in the practice of waste banks in Sub District Rejosari District of Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. This study is a correlational research. Sampling using simple random sample with 80 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The results using SPSS, concluded that 80 respondents who researched the study showed that 41,25% of respondents have a good knowledge about the management of household waste and 68.75% of respondents have a positive attitude about benefits of waste bank. Results of the study also concluded that there was no significant relationship between knowledge respondents regarding the management of household waste and the respondents' attitudes about the benefits of waste banks with the behavior of the involvement in the practice of waste banks either individually or simultanously. Although most people have a good knowledge about the management of household waste that is equal to 80% and most people have a positive attitude of waste banks benefit is equal 68.75% of the survey respondents where not automatically those factors make the behavior of civic engagement in practice waste banks be good anyway. Thus, in this study concluded that there was no significant relationship between knowledge, attitude toward behaviour of public involvement in the practice of waste banks in Sub District Rejosari District of Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. Waste Bank of Dalang Collection has a lack of support from the people who dwelt in the Sub District Rejosari District of Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru.
