Pengetahuan, Sikap Dan Tindakan Dokter Praktik Umum Swasta Di Kecamatan Payung Sekaki Dan Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru Terhadap Diagnosis Dan Tatalaksana Tubekulosis Paru Berdasarkan International Standards For Tuberculosis Care (ISTC)
Indonesia is the second most TB populated country after India in 2015 with total case notified of 324.539. Riau is one of the province with lowest case detection rate which is 35,7% out of total citizen in 2013. Private General Practitioner becomes one of the patient’s preference to treat pulmonary TB. In regards to the level of knowledge, attitude and practice, private general practitioner is assumed to be less capable in diagnosing, treating TB especially when it comes to referring to the latest TB treatment guidelines, International Standards for Tubercolosis Care (ISTC). This research used descriptive method with cross sectional approach with questionnaires that were distributed among 30 private general practitioners in Payung Sekaki and Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru within October to November 2016 period. The questionnaire consisted of questions asking about knowledge, attitude and practice towards diagnosis and treatment of TB based on ISTC. Result showed that 12 (40%) doctors exhibit good knowledge, 11 (36,7%) enough knowledge and 7 (23,3 %) samples with less knowledge. Results for the attitude showed that 17 (56,7 %) had positive attitude and 13 (43,3 %) had negative attitude. Another results showed that general practitioner had positive practice 53,3%, both enough and less knowledge 23,3%.
