Hubungan Status Gizi Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa SMP Negeri 7 Dan 11 Di Kota Pekanbaru
Learning achievement can be interpreted as a reference for the succeed of learning process. Learning achievement can decline due to several reasons, one of them being nutrition status. A good nutritional status will be influence to concentration and student’s achievement. This research aimed at the relationship nutritional status and learning achievement at 7 and 11 National Middle High School in Pekanbaru City. This research is quantitative with used cross sectional design in 93 students. The research was conducted from May to January 2017. The technique used for this research was quota sampling. The result of the research showed that the respondent’s nutrition status were normal which was 51,6%, underweight status was 33,3% and overweight status was 15,1%. About learning achievement were the lowest was 39.8% and the highest was 60,2%. This analysis data used chi-square test and showed that there is relationship nutritional status and learning achievement with p value = 0,028.
