Hubungan Tingkat Kepatuhan Minum Obat Terhadap Terkontrolnya Tekanan Darah Pada Pasien Hipertensi Di Rsud Arifin Achmad

Hypertension is risk factor cause of the chronic disease such as kidney failure, coronary heart disease, and stroke. The increasing incidence and prevalence of hypertension depends on several factors such as age, gender, level of knowledge, family history, and the level of adherence medication. This research has aims to analyze the relationship between the level of adherence medication with blood pressure control of hypertensive patients in the Regional Public Hospital Arifin Achmad. This was an analitycal research with cross sectional design. Data retrieval the sample with using accidental sampling as many as 84 respondent. Data retrieval the adherence medication with using Morisky questionnaire, while blood pressure data was taken by measuring the patien’s blood pressure with using sphygmomanometer. The data was processed with using correlation test wtih Spearman method. The result showed the highest level of adherence medication was the low level of adherence medication that amouted 40 persons. In the other hand spearman test result show p=0,577. As the conclusion there is no significant relationship between the level of adherence medication with blood pressure control of hypertensive patients in the Regional Public Hospital Arifin Achmad.
