Dampak Keberadaan Pt. Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Sei Pagar Terhadap Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Di Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Tengah Kabupaten Kampar

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the existence of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Sei Pagar has an impact on the socio-economic condition of the community in Kampar Kiri Tengah Sub-district, Kampar District.
The population in the study were the population of Bina baru Village which amounted to 5,061 people, Hidup Baru Village with the total population of 2,524 people. and Karya Bakti village, totaling 2,510 people. The sampling technique used is Proportional Random Sampling, with total sample of 370 people with details of Bina baru Village 185 people, Hidup Baru Village 93 people and Karya Bakti Village 92 people. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis.
The results showed: 1) from the social side of society, the existence of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Sei Pagar has little impact on education, health, social condition, but PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Sei Pagar does not give negative impact of environmental aspect and 2) from economic aspect, existence of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Sei Pagar is not able to increase income, not able absord local workforce and not cause increased community consumption.
