Implementasi Standar Pengelolaan Pendidikan Di SMP Sains Tahfizh Islamic Center Siak

This study is aimed at obtaining the deep understanding of the implementation process of the regulation of National Education Minister of Indonesia number 19 in the year of 2007 on the educational management standard which are implemented at SMP Sains Tahfizh Siak. This study used a qualitative approach and the data were collected by the instruments of documentation, interview, and observation. The results of this study were to reveal the five findings: 1) The school work plan in achieving educational management standard 2) The implementation of the work plan in achieving educational management standard, 3) The monitoring and evaluation in achieving educational management standard, 4) The leadership of the principal in achieving educational management standard, and 5) The management information system in achieving educational management standard. The result of the study showed that the implementation process on the educational management standard at SMP Sains Tahfizh is fairly good referring to the regulation of National Education Minister of Indonesia number 19 in the year of 2007. The major factor of being successful in implementing the educational management standard is due to the fact the principal is able to comprehend the duty, function, and responsibilty to implement the educational management standard by involving all the stakeholders at SMP Sains Tahfizh Siak.
