Gambaran Manajemen Pelaksanaan Program Kesehatan Ibu Dan Anak Di Puskesmas Senapelan Kota Pekanbaru

Maternal and child health (MCH) problems are still unresolved, marked by high rates of maternal, neonatal, infant and child mortality in Indonesia. Cases were found in several public health centers (PHC) of Pekanbaru, but zero at the Senapelan PHC. This study aims to describe the MCH program at Senapelan PHC on management aspect. The research was a qualitative descriptive involving four informants. Data was collected through in-depth interviews using guidlines. The results shows planning of MCH program was prepared with consideration of previous achievements and suggestions from the recipients of MCH services. Organizing places resources according to the type of education and assignments of midwives refer to tupoksi. Actuation by providing motivation and direction related to MCH issues and communication between midwives and the head runs effectively. Supervision of the MCH program by monitoring the results of the activities discussed at the monthly meeting and using the minimum service standard guidelines that are adjusted for the working area of the Senapelan Health Center.
