Gambaran Farmakoterapi Pasien Osteoarthritis Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode Januari 2014 – Desember 2016
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative joint disease associated with damage to joint cartilages, with pain as the main complaint. The treatment that is done greatly affects the quality of life of the patient. OA management includes non-pharmacotherapy, pharmacotherapy and surgery. The purpose of this research was to pharmacotherapy description of osteoarthritis patients in RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province period January 2014-December 2016. This study was a cross sectional descriptive design using medical record data at the RSUD Arifin Achmad Polyclinic has been explored using the ICD-10 code namely M15-M19. The sample was 259 patients. The results of this study found that the most patient characteristics were women 76.4%, aged> 60 years 40.9%, located at knee 84.9%, health financing used was BPJS 68.3%. Most OA patients receive 95.1% NSAID pharmacotherapy, with a single NSAID drug regimen 62.5%. The most widely used type of NSAID is 50.0% meloxicam. Gastrointestinal drug use as a comedication for NSAID use is 96.3% and nutritional supplements as much as 67.7%. Keywords : pharmacotherapy, corticosteroids, NSAIDs, osteoarthritis, financing
