Gambaran Sarapan Dan Status Gizi Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Riau Angkatan 2017
Breakfast is an activity of eating from waking up done until to 9 am to fulfill some of daily nutritional needs (15-30% nutritional needed). The purpose of this study was to describe the students’ breakfast activity and nutritional status in medical faculty at the university of Riau class of 2017. This was a descriptive study, with 121 respondents. Study findings, showed that 70.2% of respondents were female, all respondents had mild physical activity, and 81% had sufficient knowledge on nutrition. Respondents who did not have regular breakfast 86 respondents (70,2%) and had obese type I 14 respondents (16,3%) and obese type II 7 respondents (8,1%). Among respondents, 41% had regular breakfast and were not underweight or obese. Among respondent with good breakfast calories 14 respondents (50%) have good nutritional status (BMI .18,5-22,9).
