Control of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) can be done by eradicating the vector of Aedes aegypti mosquito using a red ginger extract insecticide because Citronella Oil content has the potential as anti mosquito liquid (spray). This study aims to analyze the power of red ginger extract toxin with different extract methods and different treatment concentration and effective concentration to give the power of toxin against A. aegypti mosquitoes. This experimental study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design with Anova analysis techniques, Mann whitney, and Kruskal wallis. The results showed that the higher the treatment concentration, the higher the rate of death of A. aegypti mosquitoes and the higher the treatment concentration the faster the A. aegypti mosquitoes will experience death. There was no significant difference between traditional and distillation extraction methods against A. aegypti mosquito death with p value 0.46, where the mean of distillation method killed mosquitoes by 1 tail and the traditional method was 0.667. This means that the concentration factor of treatment is not dependent on the factor of treatment extraction method on the mortality rate of A. aegypti mosquitoes. There were significant differences in different concentrations of Aegypti mosquito death rates with Sig. 0.046 ≤ alpha 5%, indicating there is a significant difference in the number of mosquito deaths based on the concentration used. From Duncan's New Multiple Range Test, it is known that the treatment concentration of 75% and 100% effective against the death rate of A. aegypti mosquito, both distillation and traditional method. Thus, red ginger has the potential as a repellent to control the A. aegypti mosquito to eliminate the spread of dengue virus and reduce the incidence of dengue fever.
