Uji Aktivitas Enzim Fekal Mutagen Pada Tikus Putih (Wistar Rat) Yang Diberi Bakteri Patogen Dengan Atau Tanpa Pemberian Susu Fermentasi Mengandung Lactobacillus Casei Subsp. Casei R-68
Probiotics are non-pathogenic living bacteria that are consumed as dietary supplements to maintain a balance in the ecosystem of intestinal microbiota that is beneficial to body health. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of giving Lactobacillus casei subsp. casei R-68 isolated from dadih and pathogenic bacteria Escherichia coli FNCC-19 and Listeria monocytogenes FNCC-0156 on the number of fecal enzymes in wistar rat as prevention of cancer, especially colon cancer. This research was carried out experimentally by using completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and five replications in order to obtain twenty five experimental units. The treatments in this study were G1 (Controls given only normal diet and non-fermented skim milk), G2 (Treatment with normal diet plus non-fermented milk and Escherichia coli FNCC-19), G3 (Treatment with normal diet plus non-fermented milk and Listeria monocytogenes FNCC-0156), G4 (Treatment with normal diet plus probiotic R-68 fermented milk and Escherichia coli FNCC-19), G5 (Treatment with normal diet plus probiotic R-68 fermented milk and Listeria monocytogenes FNCC-0156). The parameters observed were β-glucosidase and β-glucosidase enzyme activities. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the feeding of probiotic R-68 fermented milk significantly affected (P
