Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a new development agenda in which Indonesia is one of the countries that play an active role in setting goals for SDGs. To fulfill the government's commitment in achieving Sustainable Development Goals, Indonesia has mainstreamed SDGs into RPJMN which has been established through Presidential Decree Number 59 Year 2017 on the Implementation of the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. One of the targeted sectors within the SDGs is the forestry sector in Goal 15 of Conservation and Sustainable Use of Terrestrial Ecosystems. Forest contributions to other SDGs' objectives are interrelated, indicating the role of forests in achieving SDGs. Indonesia as one of the countries with the largest forest in the world needs to pay attention to the importance of forest contribution to the achievement of SDGs as aspects of environmental protection and management in Indonesia.
