Efisiensi Pemasaran Cumi-Cumi (Loligo Sp) Di Kelurahan Labuhan Deli Kecamatan Medan Marelan Kota Medan Provinsi Sumatera Utara
This research was conducted in Labuhan Deli Village, Medan Marelan Subdistrict, Medan City, North Sumatra Province as one of the areas that has the potential to produce squid on 15 to 29 September 2018. This study aims to describe the forms of squid marketing channels (Loligo sp ) in Labuhan Deli Village, knowing how much the costs and benefits obtained by the marketing agency Squid (Loligo sp) in Labuhan deli Village and Knowing the marketing efficiency by using marketing margins and Fisherman share marketing of Squid (Loligo sp) in Labuhan Deli Village. The method used in this study was the survey method. The respondents of this study consisted of 44 fishermen, 2 collecting traders, 2 agents and 1 retailer. There are 2 forms of channels for marketing squid in Labuhan Deli Village. The first channel was fishermen to collecting traders then to industrial agents and consumers. The second channel is the fisherman to the collector then to the agent and then from the agent will sell to industrial consumers and to retailers. In channel I the quality or grade A squid has a 40% marketing margin and fisherman shares 60%, and on squid grade B quality has a marketing margin of 30.76% and fisherman shares 69.23% and grade squid C has a marketing margin of 16.6% and Fisherman Share 83.33%. On channel II the amount of squid marketing margin quality A is 40% with fisherman share is 60%, and on squid grade B quality has a marketing margin of 30.76% and fisherman shares 69.23% and grade squid C has 25% marketing margin and 75% Fisherman Share. Based on the high and low marketing margins and fisherman share, channel I is the most efficient marketing channel in Labuhan Deli Village. This is because the value of fisherman share channel I is higher than the value of fisherman share on channel II.Keywords: Efficiency, Marketing Margin, Fisherman Share
