Hubungan Kadar Gula Darah Puasa Dengan Durasi Sakit Pada Penderita Psoriasis Vulgaris Di Rumah Sakit Swasta X Di Pekanbaru
Psoriasis is a chronic non-infectious inflammatory disease of the skin that is a result of polygenic predisposition combined with trigger factors such as trauma, infection, stress, and drugs. Prevalence of psoriasis in world population about 0.1-11.8%. There have been no studies on the relationship of fasting blood sugar to the duration of psoriasis vulgaris illness in Pekanbaru. The study is an analytical study to determined the relationship of fasting blood sugar levels with the duration of illness in psoriasis vulgaris patients at Pekanbaru X private hospital. The research was carried out in the skin and sex polyclinic and in the installation medical records at Pekanbaru X private hospital, by looking at the psoriasis vulgaris medical recorded in 2018. The highest incidence in the 36-45(32.6%) years age group. Incidence of women 23(53.5%) and men 20(46.5%). The age of onset of pain most occurred at ≤40(74.4%) years old. Most fasting blood sugar levels within normal(79.1%) and most are at the duration of illness ≤10 years with p=0.177. the results of the statistical test showed that there was no relation between fasting blood sugar levels and duration of illness in psoriasis vulgaris patients at Pekanbaru X private hospital.
