Profil Pasien Karsinoma Hati Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 2013-2017
Hepatocellular carcinoma is one of the most common primary malignancies in the liver comprising 90-95% of all cases of liver tumors besides intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Hepatocellular carcinoma is the fifth most common cancer in men and the ninth in women. Hepatocellular carcinoma is the second most common causes of cancer death in the world. This was a descriptive study to describe the profiles of hepatocellular carcinoma patients in Arifin Achmad General Hospital of Riau Province in the period of 2013-2017 including age, gender, ethnic, job, main symptom, diagnostic test, AFP value and therapy with total sampling method. Of 175 hepatocellular carcinoma patients, the result were as follows: mean age was 53,5 ± 12,1 years old, men (78,3%), Malay (22,3%), no risky job, main symptom were abdominal pain (45,7%) and abdominal mass (30,9%), ultrasonography (85,7%), AFP value ≥400 ng/mL (30,7%) and all patients had supportive theraphy.Keywords: abdominal pain, alpha-fetoprotein, hepatocellular carcinoma, profile, Riau
