Analisis Kemiskinan Penduduk Penyandang Masalah Kesejahteraan Sosial Di Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

This study aims to determine the causes of poverty and find out how deep the poverty and severity of poverty in Rambah Sub-District, Rokan Hulu District. This research was conducted in Rambah sub-district, Rokan Hulu District, because of the 16 sub-districts in Rokan Hulu District, Rambah sub-district was the region that experienced the highest level of poverty seen from people with social welfare problems. The data used are primary and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative, namely analyzing data from the results of the research collected and then processed to see a picture of the problem, as well as making further qualitative measurements compared with existing theories and then draw conclusions. The results of the study can be concluded that of the 80 respondents surveyed based on the depth index of poverty in Rambah Subdistrict it is not too severe, this is because the total expenditure of the population of Rambah Subdistrict is not too large especially for the needs of household consumption. Then the results of the poverty severity index from each of the existing livelihoods are not too high, except the index of the income of private employees who are quite high. Then it can be said that the inequality of expenditure of the population of the poor in the District of Rambah is quite low. The results of the head count index show that the poverty rate in Rambah Subdistrict, Rokan Hulu District is 60.54%.
