Pemanfaatan Limbah Plastik Elektronik Dan Sbe Sebagai Material Pengganti Sebagian Pasir Pada Pembuatan Batako
One effort to reduce the waste of e-Waste (plastic on electronics) and SBE is to utilize as raw material on brick making. Plastics are not easily degradable by chemicals, heat, hold hit and clay. While SBE is a solid waste produced from the vegetable oil industry. The purpose of this study is to utilize plastic parts of used electronics and SBE as a substitute for some sand on brick making. In addition, determining the influence of variations in the amount of e-waste (electronic waste) and SBE to the quality of bricks made based on the dry weight, strong press and the power of block to water. The variation of the amount of e-Waste used 0.03 kg, 0.06 kg, 0.09 kg, 0.12 kg, 0.15 kg, 0.18 kg and a variation of the amount of sbe 0.15 kg, 0.45 kg, 0.75 kg, 1.05 kg, 1.35 kg and 1.65 kg, and made block without using e-Waste and SBE. After the brick is printed, then the brick is dried for 28 days and determined by the quality. From the results of the research, can be known block which has the best quality is a brick containing the amount of e-Waste 0.18 kg and SBE 3 kg is the weight of the dry 6.66 kg, block power to the water 0.30%, and strong press 4.20 MPa, this block meets standard SNI 03-0349-1989.Keywords: absorption, brick, compressive strength, dry weight, e-Waste ,SBE
