Strategi Pembangunan Sektor Pendidikan Di Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti (Studi Kasus Kecamatan Rangsang Pesisir Pasca Pemekaran Tahun 2012)
The purpose of this research is to focus on the supervision strategy and responsibility of the Regional Government in the development of the education sector in sub district Rangsang Pesisir after the expansion in 2012 and what are the supporting factors and obstacles to the process. The approach of this research is to use a qualitative descriptive method that is describing and explaining the problems studied in the form of sentences not in the form of numbers. This research was conducted at the Education Office of Kepulauan Meranti Regency. Data analysis is done by organizing data, describing it into units, synthesizing, arranging into patterns, choosing which ones are important to learn, and by making conclusions that can be told to others. Based on the reslut of the research there are 5 core Education Sector Development Strategies in Kepulauan Meranti District (Case Study of Post-Expansion Rangsang Pesisir Districts in 2013-2017) which are five C (core, consequences, customer, control, and culture). The most important government of the Regency of Meranti District Service has a strategy in achieving organizational goals, implementation has been carried out and still requires evaluation and reduces obstacles in implementing this strategy. There are factors that influence the Education Sector Development Strategy in Kepulauan Meranti District (Case Study of Post-Expansion Rangsar Pesisir Districts in 2013-2017), namely budget, human resources and people's mindset.
