Simulasi Dan Analisis Performansi Protokol Routing Dsdv Dan Olsr Pada Jaringan Vehicular Ad – Hoc Network Di Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
The traffic area of activity a days that make frequent traffic density of vehicles that cause the onset of congestion. In the city of Pekanbaru, frequent traffic congestion caused by vehicles in a pile road because there are certain events make road impassable for constrained by other road users. This occurs due to the absence of that information in the way that there are activities that cause the road is not passable. The issue of the need for applications that can deliver information between vehicles so as not to make the jamming density occurred in the road. One of the technologies is Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET). VANET makes all vehicles in a network as nodes to communicate. Routing protocols are required in VANET to deliver data packets efficiently and optimally. In this final project is simulated and analyzed the comparative performance Destination – Sequenced Distanced – Vector (DSDV) and Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR). The application used in this simulation that is SUMO and NS-2. This simulation using the urban condition in scenario changes the number of nodes. Network performance parameters was evaluated using Packet Delivery Ratio, Routing Overhead and End to End Delay. From the simulation result OLSR has better performance values with an average value Packet Delivery Ratio of 98.38%, Routing Overhead 0.67096, End-to-End Delay 0.077992 s while DSDV has an average value Packet Delivery Ratio 96.11%, Routing Overhead 1.02368, End-to-End Delay 0.19332 s.
