Pendidikan Karakter Melalui Comprehensive Project Pada Siswa Kelas Iv Sekolah Cerdas Pekanbaru
Character education through a comprehensive project is motivated by the awareness of the importance of character education that has not been implemented as it should. What's more is known, the condition of Indonesia's human character today seems to experience chronic disorientation. The descriptive qualitative research method used aims to collect data about character education through a comprehensive project in fourth grade students of the Pekanbaru Smart School. With the subject 1 homeroom teacher, 1 person in charge of the school, and 5 students. Researchers determine the source of the data, make observations, then conduct documentation for further clarification by conducting interviews with the data source. The results of the study stated that character education through comprehensive projects has been carried out in accordance with school programs, although not yet meeting all observational indicators. Character education for class IV students held at Pekanbaru Smart Schools has been implemented but, it has not been implemented in full because of the 3 aspects of character education namely good knowledge (moral knowing), feeling well or loving good (moral feeling), and also behavior that is good (moral action), but morally action on students has not become a habit or habit. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that character education for fourth grade students through the Comprehensive Project Program runs with the form of the program that pays attention to the needs and potential of the students both in the intellectual, emotional, physical, artistic, creative, and spiritual aspects.
