Inventarisasi Gas Rumah Kaca Dari Limbah Padat Dan Limbah Cair Domestik Di Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Pekanbaru City has population of 1,091,088 people. In 2018, total of waste generation in Pekanbaru City was 136,478.88 tons/year and total of using septic tanks was 225,622 households. If solid waste from waste and liquid waste from the septic tank is not treated, it will cause the Greenhouse Gas effect. The purpose of this research is to determine the value of emissions from solid waste and liquid waste in Pekanbaru City and give effort mitigation for emissions of solid waste and liquid waste. The methodology in this study are with primary data obtained by gived questionnaires randomly to 150 people in each district and secondary data obtained from DLHK and the Public Health Office. Data processing was using the formula from IPCC 2019. The results showed that the equivalent CO2 gas emissions from solid waste in the Muara Fajar TPA in 2018 with an open dumping system was 13,16 Gg CO2e/year and the emissions from the open burning process in 2018 were 10,13 Gg CO2e/year. The liquid waste emission value from septic tank in 2018 are minimum dry weight of 22,14 Gg CO2e/year, average dry weight of 29,45 CO2e/year, and maximum dry weight of 36,77 CO2e/year.
